Up-north of the Mediterranean coast, on a rocky hill covered with the local flora, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere hides the surprising fact that we are a few meters close to a Israeli-lebanon border. Driving up forested hills, as they open up a panoramic view to the western Galilee and Haifa bay, the curly road leads to a small Kibbutz Adamit. On the highest point of this small settlement stands the house of two artists, Asia and Yuri, and their big family. The house was designed and built with a unique approach to architecture and interior design, with the belief that everything can be combined: beauty and functionality, old and new, past and present. Maybe the best term to describe the essence of the house is “Eclectic”, a greek word meaning “A collection of different things”, as it combining elements and styles from different time periods and different origins. For most of the items in the house - this is the second incarnation of life; The couple recreated and renovated creatively recycled raw materials, old windows, doors, furniture and accessories collected throughout the country and construction waste sites, creating a space with a special harmony and a special story. The open space which blends kitchen, living and dining space is completely open to the breathtaking view of the green hills of lebanon, blending the inside with the outside, modern and old, eastern and western, industrial and bohemian. This is the home to a beautiful art collection; modern Israeli art, Yuri’s and Asia’s own works, and paintings and sculptures made by the young family members, all placed throughout the house. The space holds creativity in every detail and corner, allowing each object to do it’s own unique story-telling. There are six bedrooms in the house: The house has a large backyard - An ideal place for children's games ( hammock, children's toys) & fireplace with a view.
