DATES AVAILABLE, delightful home-from-home, self-catering cedar wood chalet on a quiet and child friendly Elmrise Park. The site has stunning views of the Towy Valley and surrounding countryside. The Park is situated four miles from Carmarthen Town on the Towy Estuary, close to the seaside village of Llansteffan. ( lovely beach for playing on rather than swimming in ) There are other suitable beach’s in the area. It is well located for a wide range of fantastic visitor attractions in the area The chalet consists of a lounge, kitchen-diner, bathroom, with a combined bath & shower. Three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with bunk beds (adult size) and a room with a single bed. Television with satellite freeview, DVD player plus a music hi-fi. There is a £1 coin meter for the electric. Parking is offered opposite the chalet, with a path leading to the entrance. If required, the site has a laundry facility which take £1 coins, opposite the chalet. Julie in the site office is happy to offer any advice and information on local attractions Sue is only a phone call away Elmrise Park is situated four miles from Carmarthen Town on the Towy Estuary, close to the seaside village of Llansteffan. It is well located for a wide range of fantastic visitor attractions in the region, including: * The National Botanic Gardens of Wales * The seaside resort of Tenby * Laugharne and writer Dylan Thomas' Boathouse * Pembrey Park * Llanelli National Coastal Park * Penclacwydd Wildfowl Reserve * Folly Farm and Oakwood Leisure Park * Pendine Sands ' Saundersfoot and Wiseman's Bridge Locally, attractions include Llansteffan Beach and Scott's Bay, due to being an estuary these beaches are not safe for swimming in the sea , yet great for walking and playing on. Other beaches along the coast are great for swimming. There are lovely walks to Llansteffan Castle and surrounding woodland. In the village of Llansteffan, there are several pub-restaurants, a shop, with post office and beach shop / cafes and Rick Stein recommended fish and chips by the beach. The nearby village of Johnstown has a Spar shop and in Carmarthen, there is a thriving shopping centre, with an indoor market, street market, local independent shops and high street stores, cinema and Theatre and a large 24-hour Tesco store or Morrison's till 10pm A car is essential for a stay at this chalet We are happy to take bookings with at least 7 days notice of arrival, if your booking is within this time frame please send a request and we will see if we can accommodate your booking Children must be supervised in the play area Take a look at this lovely film on YouTube about the Llansteffan costal walk (Website hidden by Airbnb)
