Access to the beach: via bus, which runs daily to the area, by car, by taxi, motorbike and bicycle.. By ferry: The main port for ferry services is in Kos Town. Depending on the season, there are many passenger ferries leaving for various neighboring islands. Daily ferry services from Piraeus, Rhodos, Patmos and Leros. From Kalymnos island several times daily (the main ferry to Kalymnos leaves from Mastichari). From Santorini about 4 times weekly. From Syros twice weekly. You can also explore by bicycle Kardamena, or even further the whole of Kos island. If you have a yacht, the port of Kardamena is suitable both for mooring and water and fuel supply. From Kardamena you can organize excursions and trips by car, bus or ferry boat, to various places of Kos island and Nisyros island. Nisyros is located to the south of Kos and the north-west of Rhodes. There is daily connection between Kardamena port and Nisyros. The sailing time from Kardamena to Nisyros is one hour and apart from the ferry, from May to October there are small boats transfering tourists from Kardamena to Nisyros, departing daily from Kardamena in the morning and going back from Nisyros in the afternoon.
