Four Acre Estate off Highland Road

The house sits on 4 acres of landscaped property - huge southern oak trees abound, and crepe myrtles line the driveway. The house is on a lake; there is a pier in the backyard. At night, the yard is fully illuminated by outdoor lighting. In a neighborhood on Highland Road, with the master suite downstairs. There is an additional bedroom downstairs, and two bedrooms upstairs. There is a balcony overlooking the yard and the lake, and a pier on the lake. Two fireplaces. The huge landscaped yard (four acres) and the lake are almost unheard of in Baton Rouge. There are several outdoor areas (back porch, balcony, front courtyard and the pier) to enjoy. The house has four bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed. There are two upstairs bedrooms (each with a queen bed). There is also a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed. Guests will have access to all areas except for storage areas, and the third bay of the garage. We try to afford guests as much privacy as possible. We are very responsive and will provide any needed advice and answer any questions, but otherwise we don't want to hover. The immediate subdivision is very pretty - the lots are much larger than most in Baton Rouge, with lots of trees. It's a great place to go for a run. Southeast Baton Rouge, where the property is located, is one of the nicest areas of the city. The property is right off of I-10 on the Highland road exit. There is ample parking available (two spots in the garage and four or five more in the driveway). Absolutely no parties/events. Thanks for your cooperation!
