Rose Cottage - quiet village location

Welcome to Rose Cottage. Unique and eclectic with a nod to her 300 year old roots with the Inglenook fireplace and bread oven. Rose Cottage is great for relaxing in or using as a base for exploring the magnificent local Powys countryside. Set in the heart of a quiet little village with a super pub and village shop, Rose Cottage is a great escape for friends, family, couples and pooches, from the hustle and bustle of busy life. You’ll have full use of Rose Cottage during your stay, which includes a sitting/dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, one bathroom and one shower room. Plus the garden down the lane, with seating areas and a BBQ for when the weather allows. Whilst Rose Cottage does not have a designated parking space, we suggest you park up the lane by the church wall (in front of the white box marked on the ground) or the owners of the village pub - The Radnorshire Arms - have very kindly allowed for our guests to park in their car park (but please do at least go for a drinkie or two or for food!). I'm only a Whats App or phone call away! Beguildy is a quiet little village in the county of Powys. As mentioned, the village has a pub - The Radnorshire Arms which offers super food, so do book a table - and a little shop and post office. Rose Cottage is situated just over a mile from Beacon Hill (Crown estate land), as well as Glyndwr's Way. Offa's Dyke, Kerry Ridgeway and the Shropshire Way are all also within easy reach. If you like exploring either on foot or by bike, then Rose Cottage is in a perfect location to do just that. Eight miles East of Rose Cottage is the border town of Knighton (with a supermarket, petrol stations, pubs and independent shops) and thirteen miles West of Rose Cottage is Newtown (the capital town of Powys, with lots of supermarkets and high street shops). We love doggies and are more than happy for your four legged pooch/pooches to visit Rose Cottage too. However, we do ask that you take their doggy towels and blankets with you to use on the sofa/beds to protect the furniture. Also, please be aware the garden down the lane, is not fully enclosed during the Autumn/Winter months as the hedging starts dying back.
