The Hayloft @ Les Hirondelles adults exclusively

Les Hirondelles is situated in a quiet Hamlet called Juif, comprising of 2 properties, The Hayloft & The Stables. These are exclusively for adults who want to get away from it all and sample the real tranquil rural France. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Charente region, and for taking a well-earned break from the stresses and strains of everyday life. The property is marketed for visitors who want to get away from it all and experience the calm and tranquility of rural France. The pool area will be shared if the other property is rented out at the same time. I live on site, so am available for most of the time. I will leave you to your own devices, unless of course you require my advice on what to do in the area. We are nr the market town of Aigre with weekly markets on Thursday and Sunday Morning. Angouleme is 35minutes drive away. Cognac is a 30minute drive away with its historic cognac houses. Well worth a visit. Further afield are la Rochelle and Bordeaux, both about a 95minute drive. A car is essential for getting around, as this is rural France. There are cycle routes for those who are keen cyclists, or just for leisure. This property is accessed via a spiral staircase, so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Internet Access: As this is rural France our internet connection speed does not reflect the experience you could ordinarily expect at home. We have found that most mobile packages provide a faster connection speed. Therefore since the removal of EU data roaming charges we no longer offer an internet access facility on site. We hope to re-introduce this facility in the future when the national scheme to improve connection speeds is rolled out. The tv's have HDMI ports, should you wish to watch any previously downloaded material. Please note that the price shown is for 2 guests only. No infants, no ‘additional’ guests to be added later onto the booking, and no pets.
