Cozy apartment near Soča, Bovec

Apartment "Pr Leju" is located in a peaceful village by the inspiring Soča river. Climb the surrounding mountains, hike trough unspoiled nature, go fishing, kayaking, rafting, paragliding, canyoning or skiing, admire rich cultural heritage or just listen to the sound of silence. The size of the apartment is 75 square meters. Beside two bedrooms (2+2) there are two sofas in the living room, one of which can be converted to a bed for two. Thus 3 persons can sleep in the living room. Guests have their own entrance and a big parking space near the house. The apartment comprises entire upper floor of the house and has two air conditions that can be used for both cooling and heating. The apartment is being heated with central floor heating and radiators. Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the whole apartment. For equipment (i.e. skis, sledge, kayak, canoe...) there is a large storage room in the building next to the apartment. Outside the apartment there is also a swing for kids. There are 4 bicycles available for guests that can be used free of charge. We can provide guests with relevant information regarding almost anything, e.g. how to go rafting or skiing or how to get a fishing permit for catching the Soča's Marble trout (Salmo marmoratus), which is unique trout specie. Bovec is a starting base for all adrenaline fans. At the guest's request we will deliver the most recent information concerning kayaking, rafting, hiking, canyoning, skiing, etc. Log Čezsoški is a peaceful village in the heart of nature and 5km away from Bovec, which is center for summer and winter activities around the Soča valley. There are several villages around with many restaurants and shops. In the Soča valley you can find many remote and lone places to rest or swim. Because of glacial inflows Soča is a little cooler in some parts. There are many waterfalls around, for example Boka and Virje. Surrounding mountains provides mountaineer with a great portion of joy with their diversities, views and beauty. Many of them, for example Mangart, Rombon and Krn, are higher than 2000m. In the winter time you can ski at the Kanin Ski Centre, which is the highest ski centre in Slovenia (2,293 m) known for its huge quantity of natural snow. The cable-car takes you to the altitude of 2,202 m and into a wonderful panorama overlooking the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. It is linked to Sella Nevea ski resort on the Italian side. Bus station is in walking distance (app. 450m) and connects Log Čezsoški with Bovec, Žaga, Srpenica, Kobarid, Tolmin and Most na Soči. Several nature wonders, hills and mountains can be reached on foot. Soča (Isonzo) river is also called "The Emerald Beauty" due to it's emerald green water. Many writers and poems were and are inspired by it's beauty. Soča river was also one of the scene grounds for Disney movie Chronicles of Narnia. The whole region around Bovec has strong historical background. In Kobarid there is a recognized museum about World War I. They also organize many guided tours, such as Kobarid History Walk and Isonzo Front Remains.
