One Bedroom Red Hook Condo with Spectacular Views
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located gem with sweeping views of Red Hook Bay. Five minute walk to the town of Red Hook, which boasts a wide selection of restaurants, bars, and shops. The town also offers amenities such as a grocery store, pharmacy, bank, mail service, and laundromat. Red Hook also has a ferry terminal with hourly service to St John, and a marina, American Yacht Harbor, from which you can charter a boat and enjoy snorkeling, etc. Several beaches are also nearby. You will enjoy lovely views from this peaceful mountain retreat. Start your day with the cheerful sound of birds chirping from nearby flamingo trees that are just below your private, screened-in patio. The town of Red Hook is a five minute walk away. Relax and enjoy this scenic unit which includes a living area, kitchenette, one bedroom, one full bathroom, and a spacious patio that has a gas grill. You have the option of dining on the patio or indoors. Wifi and Roku TV are included. The entire condo is for your exclusive use. This is not a shared apartment. I will be available by text or phone if you have any questions or concerns. Red Hook Mountain is a peaceful, low traffic area. The town of Red Hook, however, is quite lively, especially at night. Taxis are readily available in Red Hook Plaza, American Yacht Harbor, or the Ferry Terminal. If you prefer to rent a car, your condo has a private, assigned parking space. Safari Buses (also known as Dollar Taxis) run every five to ten minutes (less often on Sundays) and stop in front of the Agave Restaurant. It costs $2 per person to go all the way to Charlotte Amalie, and $1 if you get off before you reach the capital city. Be mindful, they only run during daylight hours. The condo is on the side of Red Hook Mountain, about 400 yards uphill from the main road that goes thru the town of Red Hook. The downhill walk to town is therefore rather easy, however the return trip home is uphill. If you are not in the mood to walk, taxis are readily available in Red Hook Plaza or American Yacht Harbor. If you prefer to rent a car, your condo has a private, assigned parking space. Red Hook Diving Center is a five minute walk from your condo, from which you can arrange for scuba diving and/or snorkeling excursions.
