Lakefront Home on Paw Paw Lake: Boat Slip Included

Gut Rehabbed 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom House, directly on (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) acre Paw Paw Lake!! . First floor features the half bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and living room that leads out to the sandy area that is set up with a fire pit and outdoor seating. If you are planning to bring your boat, the home does come with a boat slip as well! (Please let us know prior to the stay if you'd like to use this) Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms that lead out to a balcony that over looks the lake. Thanks for looking! The home also has central air conditioning for additional comfort. There is no cable in the home, it is for DVDs only. Coloma is a hidden gem, surrounded by wineries, golf courses, and only 5 miles to Lake Michigan. The sanded area is yours to enjoy. Please do not enter the gated part of the property- if we are on site we use that gate to keep our kids and dog away from the water. You are welcome to use the dock as well! We are sometimes on property at the main house but the best way to contact us is by text message. Always quick to respond! WHERE TO GO Nearby Grocery stores: Hardings (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Paw Paw Ave): The local grocery store that will have everything you need to stock up for the weekend Jollay Market (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Friday Rd): You probably passed this when you got off the exit! This is an incredible place to get some fresh tacos, amazing homemade donuts, and local jams, relishes, and fruit/veggies. They just have a small covered patio so if the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can take them to go! Fruit Acres: This is directly across the street from Jollay and our go to place for all the produce we need when we are in town! They are so friendly and have the freshest items that you can taste before you buy! Our Favorite Restaurants: Blackbird Waterhouse (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Paw Paw Lake Rd): This is a brand new restaurant and is getting great reviews on the food. It is just down the street! El Asadero (168 N Paw Paw St): This is a great dive place for tacos and Mexican food. They usually run nightly specials on drinks and food so you can call or visit their website to see what they have going on! Vineyards Chocolate (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Friday Rd): Adorable husband/wife owned chocolate and candy shop! Perfect to satisfy any sweet tooth. They homemade everything- chocolate, fudge, barks, nuts, etc! Hub Central (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) N Paw Paw Street): A great local dive place for breakfast! Their service is amazing. Friendly Tavern (206 N Paw Paw St): The name says it all, great service and good bar food and place to watch some football if you’re around that time of year. Pizza Hut (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Paw Paw Lake Road) : (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Just down the street so delivery is always really quick and fresh! Waterfront (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Beech Ave): Also just down the road and the only waterfront restaurant on the water. You can drive your boat up to it and dock! Or drive on over and park. It has a magnificent waterfront beach restaurant. THINGS TO DO Hagar Park (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) M 63 N, Coloma, MI): This is our go to spot to get off the lake for a day. It is a beautiful, swimmable beach! There is quite a set of stairs to get down to the beach but it is totally worth it, you might just want to pack light. There is also a great playground for the kids with BBQs and picnic tables! Boat rental: You have the ability to rent boats for the half day and full day on the lake. There are multiple sites and ways to do it but the only one we have personally tried and had success with is (Website hidden by Airbnb) Everything is booked securely like Airbnb! Wineries: These four wineries are closest to our home. They are all wonderful and offer wines for everyone. There is a pamphlet attached here that can assist with your planning! Contessa is our favorite for the patio and wines! • Karma Vista • Contessa • Vineyard (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) • 12 Corners MISCELLANEOUS There are a selection of books on the TV stand, please help yourself during your stay. Please do not take any, they are shared amongst guests and family. Handy Spot Liquor- This is across the street from the house and is good for a last minute pick up. Laundromat- Not too far away and they take credit card to give you quarters and whatever you need. Public Boat launch- (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Wil-O-Paw Drive Coloma, MI) If you bring your own boat this is the closest launch for you to access the lake. The launch directly next to our house is private and only available to certain owners on the lake. We do not have access. Firewood- Please enjoy the firepit. There are usually roadside stands along paw paw lake road randomly that sell wood for cheap but if not, Harding’s is your sure bet.
