Spacious Suite with Lake View

Outside...enjoy amazing sunrises over the lake... flower gardens around the house...birds that come to the feeders, and the purple martins (hopefully) in the summer. Inside... there are comfortable beds, a dining area that seats 6-8, and a fully equipped kitchen ready to prepare meals. We have a suite on the lower level of our home. It is open and spacious. There is a view of the lake across the road from where we live. There are large windows and lots of sunlight. It is very clean. There are two patios, one covered and one with a fire-pit and ample wood. The suite has a kitchen, living room, huge bathroom, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, and a baby crib. The kitchen has a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice, dishwasher and smooth top range. There is a coffee maker, toaster oven, hand mixer, blender, stainless steel cookware, bakeware, serving dishes, storage containers, dinnerware and glassware to serve 12, and the list goes on. If there is anything additional you may need, let me know and hopefully we have it. We have a baby crib and a highchair if you have little ones. The bathroom is huge! It works great as a dressing room. There’s a tub with a shower in the bathroom. We have good quality thick towels and washcloths. The binder on the table has the house rules, cable channels, wifi passwords, contact phone numbers, and other useful information. NOTE! If there is very bad weather and/or the sirens go off, we will be joining you in the lower level! It is the only time we allow our cats to be in that area of our home, and they are constrained to wherever we are. You may drive down to the patio doors around the house to unpack, pack, unload groceries, etc, but you may not park there. You will be walking on grass or a plowed path if you opt to enter & exit the suite through the patio doors. We have a blacktop parking space in the driveway for you. We look forward to meeting all of our guests. We are open to sharing a bottle of wine or preparing a meal together. If you would like to come along to our favorite haunts, we would love to have you join us. Living near a lake, we have an eclectic mix of homes in the area. We are in a safe and quiet neighborhood, however, we do lock our doors at all times, and require you to lock up unless you are on the premises. The exception to quiet will be traffic during the morning and afternoon hour when people are commuting to and from work. Things to bring as they are not provided - Bottled water. We have a well, and our water is very good. We drink tap water and there is filtered water on the refrigerator. - Toothpaste Always ask before building a fire in the firepit. When the weather is perfect, we open the windows, and will want to close them.
