A local supermarket and bakery are within walking distance. There is a charming town square with coffee shop/ice cream parlour and restaurant. Kayak centre and adventure fun park are a short stroll away, by the river Soča. The area is very popular with cyclists and walkers. There is also a launch site for paragliders from the surrounding mountains. The wine regions of Goriška Brda and Vipava Valley with vineyards and wineries are easily accessible. Nova Gorica town centre is 10 min walk away. There you will find all the amenities such as restaurants, bars, shopping, theatre, casinos ... Transfer time from Trieste airport is 20 minutes. There is good public transport including trains, buses & local bike hire shop. However car hire is recommended to explore the area and get the most out of your stay. Day trip suggestions; Venice 90 min by car, Lake Bled 2 hours by train, Slovenian Coast 45 min by car or Italian coast 30min. Postojna Caves, Lipica Stud farm and capital Ljubljana are all within an hour. Triglav National Park 90 min. There is limited parking outside of the property. THERE ARE WASTE DISPOSAL CONTAINERS VERY CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY. PLEASE REMOVE ALL FOOD AND DRINK ON YOUR DEPARTURE. THE APARTMENT SHOULD BE LEFT CLEAN WITH ALL DIRTY LAUNDRY IN ONE PLACE. WASHING MACHINE AND DISHWASHER ARE FOR THE USE OF GUESTS BUT PLEASE NOTE NO CLEANING PRODUCTS/DETERGENTS ARE PROVIDED.
