Charlotte's Web - rural town retreat near Wales

A cosy cottage in the idyllic market town of Ellesmere. A short walk from the mere itself and the park, together with all the town's amenities and the canal. Several pubs, restaurants and cafes are within a 10 minute walk. The location is ideal for exploring the north and West of Wales together with Cheshire and Shropshire. This property is conveniently situated close to the town's main bus stop providing links to Shrewsbury and Gobowen railway station. A lovely area to explore. A cosy cottage with a well equipped galley kitchen, a separate dining room with work space and a comfy chair ideal for curling up with a book and a living room equipped with a television, a selection of DVDs and books and a record player - bring your own records or listen to our collection. Charlotte's Web is extremely comfortable and is specifically set-up for guests: everything in the cottage is available for guests to use - why not use the wicker picnic hamper and take a picnic to the Cremorne Gardens by the Mere? Or alternatively, use the barbeque and enjoy an al fresco meal at the cottage. I live only a short walk from the cottage so can be available when needed and I am happy to help with local transport plans and give recommendations on places to visit. Ellesmere is a quaint English market town near the Welsh border. It is a quiet town but there are often events going on especially on the weekends. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the property and a visit to the nearby Cremorne gardens, by the Mere, is a must. Ellesmere is a fantastic place for walking and cycling - and leaflets recommending routes are kept in the cottage. The property is only 2 minutes walk from the main Cross Street bus stop in Ellesmere which provides links to Shrewsbury and Gobowen railway stations as well as to Oswestry town centre. The parking at the property is tight but a standard sized family car does fit (as does my Citroen Berlingo). It is recommended that you reverse into the parking and have some one assist by watching you from outside the vehicle if you are not confident. Alternatively, there is on street parking nearby.
