House with heated pool, very quiet, very nice view

In the heart of the Natural Park of the Alpilles, near Les Baux de Provence and only 6 kms away from Saint Rémy de Provence, the Mas du Grès will accommodate you for sunny holidays in a particularly conserved & quiet area, 800 m away from the center of the village. Wonderful view of the Alpilles from the 4bdr, heated pool, pool house with a shaded terrace, kitchenette, bar and toilets. Big living room + dining room, open fully fitted kitchen with the most recent home appliances. Wifi. Built in 2011, the Mas du Grès has a surface area of 140 sq. meters spread over 2 floors. With its 4 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 9 persons. On the ground floor, the fully fitted kitchen has the most recent home appliances: American-style fridge, induction cooker, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and all the necessary domestic appliances (toaster, coffee maker, kettle, bread maker, blender …). The American-style bar, on which a family can easily eat, opens up on the dining room with its large dining table and then on the living room with its large sofa and meridienne which face the fire place. There, you can enjoy cable TV, a DVD-Blu-Ray drive, and you can have wi-fi wireless internet access throughout the house and near the swimming pool. There are toilets on the ground floor as well. On the 1st floor, there are 3 bedrooms with double beds (one 1m60 and two 1m40 large beds). One of these rooms has its own shower room and a flat screen TV. The 4th room has two single beds and an additional pullout bed. There are separate toilets and a bathroom with a bathtub. All rooms have a fantastic view with open outlook on to the Alpilles and on the historic chapel of Notre Dame du Château. In the rooms, all windows are equipped with mosquito screens (absolutely necessary in summer). The Mas du Grès is surrounded by a totally fenced 1850 sq. meter garden, kept by a gardener. In front of the house, the large and heated 6mx12m swimming pool is secured by an electric shutter and has a maintenance contract. Its water is treated with salt. The pool house has a shaded dining area (nice to have lunch outside when the sun reaches its zenith) with large teak table and chairs, games and toys for the swimming pool, toilets, kitchenette with sink, fridge, bar and of course, an inescapable Weber BBQ. On one side of the house, the children will find swings The pool is heated from may to september and this is a paying option (+300 euros) in april and october. It is only 800m away from the center of the village and from its different shops: 2 bakeries, 3 grocers’ and 1 butcher’s shops, 1 tobacconist and newspaper’s shop, a florist and many restaurants. The village tennis club is 200m away from the Mas, the famous regional fruit and vegetable wholesale market of Saint Etienne du Grès 500m away and departures for hikes in the Alpilles 300m away. By car, it takes only 45mn to go to the Camargue sand beaches and 15mn to go to Avignon’s TGV railway station.
