Need a spot for Social Distancing? My place is right on the lake and great for summer activities. The deck hangs out over the water overlooking the beach and dock. Lots of outdoor opportunities including your own hiking trail on the property. It's a great place for couples, solo adventurers, and pets who like to swim. Please note: a local occupancy tax of 4% is already included in the price you pay. The Keuka Beach House has a unique feel. The tip of the deck puts you 10 feet over the water's edge and provides a perfect space from which to view the sunset. The bucket shower gives it that rustic feel that goes away once you've tried it. The convenience of a cozy living area, kitchen and a dock from which to view the stars are all yours to enjoy. The beach space is shared with those using the house above the road. A separate stairway has been built to enhance privacy. Easy parking at the base of the driveway makes it convenient to reach the house. The house above the road also has a laundry facility available to those using the beach house. I am generally available on-site, but often travel during a portion of the summer and have a housekeeper to help manage the space at those times. The "Bluff" is a quiet place with minimal car traffic compared to other roads along the lake. It is close to the Garrett Chapel and numerous restaurants, wineries and other things to do within a 15-45 minute radius. In addition to the numerous wineries, the area from Penn Yan to Hammondsport has numerous seasonal restaurants, a great diner, two excellent shops for ice cream, and a great fried chicken restaurant. Hammondsport is a great town with restaurants, shops and a museum dedicated to early aviation and motorcycling that dates back to the early 1900s. A canoe and kayak (the yellow one) are available for use by guests who are experienced with these crafts. Life preservers are required and provided. I also have a couple of bicycles and a fabulous place to go cycling.
