Haven Cottage (by the sea)

A cosy cottage with a wood burning stove and sumptuous Afghan rug, beautifully situated just yards from the sea, and backing on to open fields. An ideal get away at any time of the year, with a fantastic beach and coastal and country walks on your doorstep. The village of Coldingham and the quaint fishing port of St Abbs are easily accessible on foot, with pubs, cafes and a warm welcome. Ideal for couples wanting either a relaxing holiday, or active pursuits. Adults only. No pets. The beach is ideal for walking, swimming, snorkelling, surfing and kayaking, and wildlife is in abundance. Dolphins regularly visit the bay. The local area provides the freedom to explore; Follow the route of the River Tweed through the beautiful, historic Scottish Borders, or experience the charm of North Northumberland with its vast beaches and many castles. My favourite city, Edinburgh, is only an hour away, and easily accessible by car or train for a great day out. We do not charge a cleaning fee, but do ask that guests leave the property as they found it, clean and tidy. During busy periods such as Easter and throughout June, July and August we may only accept a minimum 4 nights booking but please check with us. There is no provision for charging electric vehicles.
