The Coach House
LOXHORE, a village and a parish near Barnstaple, North Devon. The village stands on a hill, amid beautiful scenery, 5¼ miles from the main town of Barnstaple. The Coach House is in the grounds of The Old Rectory, it enjoys open views across the Devon countryside and is only a short walk to the entrance to Deer Park Woods, part of the Arlington Court Estate. It must be noted that Loxhore is around 3.6 miles to the nearest pub. The fabulous north Devon beaches are a short drive away. Our home is a renovated coach house. A beautiful, light and peaceful space, ideal for those who love the quiet of the countryside. A perfect base for walkers, cyclists or holiday makers wanting to escape the crowds at the beach at the end of the day. The house is private and self contained. There is a beautiful wood adjoining the house where we are happy for you to enjoy the birds, the peace and the quiet. The large field is also yours to use for exercising your dog(s) or just for enjoying the peace and quiet. I am available during the weekend and on an evening if you require assistance. Loxhore is a very quiet and tranquil village, perfect for get away from it all holidays. Perfect walking in the surrounding woods and lanes. We have private parking available. There is no public transport in the area. Loxhore is a quiet and rural hamlet. It must be noted that the nearest shop is at Bratton Fleming, two miles away. We are also surrounded by sheep and cows for most of the year; therefore, please be aware of respect for our famers and their livestock. I have 3 dogs of my own: Bella, Moki and Chang. All very friendly with children, people and dogs. Please advise if you are not a doggy person and I will ensure they don't appear on your doorstep. I also have 2 cats; therefore, if you are bringing a dog with you, and he or she is not familiar or friendly to cats, may I ask you to keep on a leash whilst outdoors. Thank you.
