The Studio @ Sands House is a tiny, self-contained apartment in the beautiful, rural market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland in the heart of the Eden Valley. Convenient for the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Pennine Way and C2C route, there are plenty of places and walk to explore. Within easy reach of the M6 and A66 it's easy to drive to Appleby, and if you prefer to use public transport, including the World famous Settle-Carlisle railway. Pet friendly, we welcome you with your dogs. The Studio @ Sands House has a double bed and also a small bed settee in the living room, which would be ideal for a small child. We have safe storage for cycles or you can bring them into the cottage if you prefer, and we have street parking permits for visitors. We can also pick you up from Appleby Station, just a 5 minute walk from the studio. There is separate access to The Studio @ Sands House. You will have your own outdoor space with seating, and if required we can offer clothes washing and drying services. There is free street parking, and we can provide you with a visitor parking permit which allows you unlimited parking. We are on hand, however will leave you in peace. If you need anything you can just text us, and we will be there to help in whatever way we can. Just let us know if you require the WiFi code and we can give the details to you when you arrive. We provide the basics - tea, coffee, croissants, jam, butter, milk and orange juice. We can also stock the fridge and store cupboard for you with more great local produce for a small additional fee - just let us know what you required. If you need anything we will be on hand, just text, call or knock on the door. We’re here to make your stay perfect. Appleby-in-Westmorland is an historic, market town with lots to explore. With a beautiful, modern swimming pool and gym overlooking the River Eden, climbing wall, squash courts, bowling club, cricket club, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and wine bars. A quite town with plenty of walks, historic buildings and small independent shops on your doorstep when you stay in The Studio. From Appleby Station, you can access the Settle-Carlisle railway line which takes you as far as Carlisle, Kirkby Stephen and North Yorkshire. The is a regular bus service to the larger market town of Penrith and a weekly bus to Kendal in the Lake District. There are a number of cycle routes and walks nearby. If you come by car, we can provide you with a street parking pass, and it is easy to drive to Appleby via the A66 and M6. We provide wood for the log burner, and will have it ready for you when you arrive. If you like, we can have it lit and warming your little holiday home ready for when you arrive.
