Cool annexe near universities,City & South Downs.
This funky annexe has all the home comforts you could want. You enter via a separate side door into a stylish space, in a quiet residential area. Two minutes walk to the nearest buses and only ten to Portslade train station. Access to the Downs and seafront is five minutes by car. Ten minutes by car to the universities and the Amex football stadium. A comfortable space where you can discover all there is to offer in this fantastic city. Reduced rates considered for sun-thurs, or mon-fri lets. Freshly painted for 2020. This lovely annexe has a spacious lounge with a large seating area, ( which is also a double sofa bed), a kitchenette , an ensuite shower and toilet and a compact mezzanine sleeping area. The lounge consists of the large sofa/bed, lamps and overhead lighting, an HD TV with Sky Q, including SKY SPORTS and Netflix, an x box 360, a wall mounted AC/heating unit and a collection of board games and cards to play with. There is a dining table which contains 4 chairs. There is a wardrobe/ cupboard for storage, which includes hangers and spare blankets. An airer, ironing board and iron are provided but there is NO washing machine. There is a kitchenette which does NOT have a cooker, but it does have a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and all cutlery and crockery needed. Upstairs is a mezzanine with limited headroom (not able to stand) it contains two futon bases with good quality double bed mattress on top, these do not fold up and are in the permanent bed position. The property is accessed by a separate side entrance into a link corridor. The bifold doors open on to our garden which you are welcome to use alongside us. It has astro turf, a trampoline and table and chairs. The hot tub is unfortunately NOT for guest use. We do use the garden and have pets so if you have allergies please be aware of this. The pets do not go in the room when guests are staying. There are voile curtains and blinds on all of the windows so privacy is accounted for as much as possible. The building is for your sole use during your stay, but the garden is shared. I will be available for any questions or advice regarding your trip.There will always be someone to help with any problems or to offer advice on where to go and what to see. You can walk from our house to the South Downs Way. You can also visit our local pub, The Hangleton Manor, which is a 600 year old manor house with a fabulous garden for summer lunches and lazy afternoons. This is a quiet, friendly neighbourhood but with many amenities to hand. It has a local Co-Op and Tesco Express, but you can also walk 5 minutes to a major Sainsburys superstore. There are several take aways and two pubs nearby that serve food. There is a doctors, dentist, library, chemist, off licence and petrol station within 5 minutes walk. We have several bus routes nearby to all central Brighton locations , approximately 20 mins and buses which go right along the South Coast and to the South Downs. Portslade train station is just ten minutes walk away. You can get the bus or train out to the universities and football stadium too. I contact guests by text the evening before arrival with the key safe code any other relevant details, but we are usually about to assist you.
