Dunley Farmhouse - quiet, cosy and comfortable

Dunley Farmhouse is an impressive Georgian house, sited on the edge of the yard on a small working farm. Spacious accommodation including large lounge with log burning stove. dinning room to seat 12 and very well equipped kitchen. LGBT friendly During School Holidays we only accept full week bookings starting on a FRIDAY. Dunley Farmhouse is a large stone build, Georgian property with big rooms and high ceilings. All five of the bedrooms come with modern ensuite bathrooms. In the large lounge the leather sofas are arranged around the log burner and you will find a selection of games and puzzles in the cupboard. The dining room has a huge solid oak table that will easily seat everyone and plenty of wine glasses. The kitchen is well equipped for the larger party. I has two cookers, two fridges and a freezer. There is a dishwasher too for easy clearing up. The large south facing conservatory is a great place to eat breakfast caching those early rays. Outside there is a large paved area for tables for al fresco dining, expansive lawns with views over one of the duck ponds. The garden is fully enclosed and dog friendly. The whole of the house and garden is yours to use and enjoy. We live in my barn conversion just across the farmyard. We are friendly and approachable and more that happy to help, offer advise or show you around the farm. Equally if you want to be left alone that is fine too. Dunley Farmhouse is one of 3 houses built around the working farmyard. The farmyard is approached down our 1km drive (Dunley Lane) providing excellent seclusion, however you are still close to everything. Dartmoor is only a mile away, Bovey Tracey is 2 miles and Newton Abbott 4 miles. The sandy beach a Teignmouth is less than 10 miles. A car is essential to get about but there is plenty of parking just outside the farmhouse. Dogs must be kept on a lead outside of the Farmhouse or its rear garden. We will happily show you around the farm, but please do wander unaccompanied without prior agreement as farms can be dangerous places.
