Barrowford is a thriving little Lancashire town, with quirky shops, great restaurants and bags to interest those who love the great outdoors. It’s also great for history buffs. You’ll be in the midst of Pendle with the superb Heritage Centre just 300 metres away. There’s wonderful countryside on the doorstep, waterways to follow and, of course, the iconic Pendle Hill, but everyone discovering somewhere new needs a great base, so that’s what we’re offering, right at the heart of Barrowford. The space We’ve created a beautiful spacious double room which benefits from private access and a luxurious en-suite with a great shower. We’ve added a large screen HDTV and naturally, there’s wifi access. It’s warm, classy and surprisingly peaceful considering it’s so handy for all the local amenities. Access to the entrance lobby, bedroom and en-suite Guest access The private entrance is to the rear of the property to, and you have keyed access 24 hours a day. Because there are a few steps leading up to the entrance, the room may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Barrowford is a scenic village in the heart of Pendle and East Lancashire. On the footstep of Pendle Hill and other surrounding hills, it is a fabulous base for those who enjoy walking, running, and cycling. In Barrowford, there are many shops, pubs, and places to eat. There is a museum and tearoom at the Pendle Heritage Centre 5 minute walk from the Airbnb with a quaint courtyard garden area. Across the road from the Airbnb room, you can walk in a park along the stream or venture further out into the beautiful East Lancashire countryside. Barrowford is conveniently located for the M65 and some major A roads to various locations in East Lancashire and across into Yorkshire. Other things to note Access is restricted to guests bedroom and the bathroom only. May not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. The area is ideal if you’re active and need your sporting fix. There are two swimming pools within a ten-minute drive, an athletics track, a closed-road cycling track and lots of incredible footpaths and countryside to explore. For those who prefer to take things a little more gently, Barrowford Park is on the doorstep.
