An idyllic cottage offers a well earned retreat.

Situated just 8 miles from Glastonbury, making it an ideal tranquil retreat during the festival for those who desire luxury! This 500 year old cottage is spacious and homely. The garden is large enough to accommodate our guests whilst they dine al fresco or relax, incorporating plenty of summer seating with hammocks, and fire pits and is totally secure for dog owners. Inside is beautifully naturally lit in daylight and offers plenty of space for families. A tranquil retreat awaits your stay. A warm welcome awaits with fresh flowers and a bottle of prosecco, chilling in the fridge. The cottage is all accessible to guests as well as the garden. I am always available for interaction with my guests by phone, text or email. It is entirely up to the guests whether they prefer to check in themselves or for me to be there to welcome them. The cottage is about a ten minute walk or 3 minute drive from the centre of Somerton. Close to a park, football pitch, tennis court and skate park and in a quiet residential location. Offering a perfect break for all. Walking is easy around Somerton. There are plenty of lovely bike rides though I'd recommend a car to travel the area during your stay. There are some wonderful dog walks and some exquisite gastro pubs for a fine dining experience. The town is equipt with a fantastic butchers, greengrocers and supermarket too. Great gift shops and an antiques compendium ensure all needs are met. There are some wonderful places to eat and drink nearby, The White Hart in the heart of Somerton and The Halfway House, just a short drive away are two strong recommendations. Wonderful walks with breathtaking views can be found easily. Wells, Glastonbury ( ideal for festival stay) and Street ( Clarks Village Shopping ) are all within just a few miles.
