Il Vigneto

'Il Vigneto' is a traditional stone house with terracotta tiles and exposed beams. A magnificent swimming pool over seven meters in length benefits from having full sun throughout the day. Adjacent to the pool is an extensive outdoor eating area along with a built-in BBQ. and Pizza oven. Inside, the house is spacious and immaculate with a modern, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, that also contains a sofa bed. There are two double bedrooms a bathroom with shower and a utility room room. The house, 'Il Vignetto is situated on the margins of Lugliano, in a rural setting that is entirely secluded and private with beautiful views of the surrounding Mountains. The approach is via a gravel road less than a kilometer in length and running parallel to Via della Chiesa. L intera casa a vostra disposizione I will meet guests on Saturdays in the square in front of the church which is at the entrance to the village. I will be available throughout the week and will need to visit the property early each morning to attend to the swimming pool. This will not disturb guests in any way. The medieval village of Lugliano is positioned on a mountain spur affording magnificent views of both the Apuan Alps and Garfagnana to the west and the Lima river with the spa town of Bagni di Lucca to the east. There are many cafes and very reasonably priced restaurants to explore both in Bagni di Lucca and the surrounding villages, all with their own specialities. There is a social club 'il circolo' in Lugliano, open for drinks and coffee in the evenings and good supermarkets five kilometers away in Bagni di Lucca which also has a market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Lugliano is only 25 mins by car from the medieval walled city of Lucca, 45mins from Pisa airport and an hour from Florence. There is a railway station in Bagni di Lucca with regular train services to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The ski resort of Abetone is just 40 minutes away by car as are the nearest seaside resorts of Viareggio and Torre del Lago Puccini.
