Nearly Wild Camping by the River Beult in Yalding
Wild camping and fishing by the River Beult in Yalding, Kent. You rent the whole space, just under an acre with plenty of space for upto 4 or 5 tents. A mixture of more open areas and mature oak, ash and hazel trees. Facilities are basic, but it's a joy to be in nature. There's a composting toilet, with a proper seat, but bring your own loo paper. A firepit is included, but you need to bring your own wood and water. In season you can fish in the river - good for Chub and Barbel. From Easter until October half-term standard bookings are for at least two nights, starting on Friday's or Saturday's. If you'd like to stay at a different time, please contact me through airbnb, Thanks Please note bookings before May 17th 2021 should be for a single household only The site is about half a mile from the medieval village of Yalding. There are three good pubs and an excellent Indian Restaurant less than a miles walk away. There's off road parking for a couple of cars. Yalding station is about a mile away. If you are going to walk, cycle or come by public transport there's a discount of £10 per night. Message me with the dates you want and I'll send you the discount. There's no water on the site (except the river) so please bring any that you need with you. Please leave no trace of your visit and take all rubbish with you. There is no access to the shed on site, which is where I keep my stuff!
