I like to welcome you to our friendly sparkling clean family house in a quiet neighbourhood, perfect for working or relaxation. The accommodation is a ground floor double bedroom, with separate bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, garden, and off road parking. I adhere to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. I accept vaccinated guests, testing negative on arrival using a LFtest. I supply these. Please note I have a young infant staying here. No previous guests have been adversely affected. The accommodation I’m offering is an airy spacious double bedroom on the ground floor situated at the front of the house. You have your own ground floor bathroom, use of microwave in the kitchen, and off road parking for one car. There is also a large garden for you to use as you wish. Bedroom The bedroom is an airy spacious, sanitised double bedroom on the ground floor situated at the front of the house. It has a very comfortable double bed, duvet and freshly ironed 100% cotton sheets and extra blanket. The wardrobe has hanging space, and the a chest of drawers with plenty more space. A table and chairs for studying or working at or relaxing. The Wifi is free. I have 67Mb Superfast Broadband, so great for watching films on the Smart TV or working etc. I like to let you know I've just opened up to Airbnb again and adhere to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. To keep everybody as safe as possible, I provide sanitation supplies for guests to use. In your room you will find hand sanitiser, and wipes. Bathroom. You have the use of the ground floor bathroom for yourself. Towels are provided. Kitchen Feel free to use the kitchen to prepare simple meals. You may use the microwave only, and enjoy the meal at the dining table. In the fridge is a shelf for guests to store their foods. I only provide the essentials such as tea, coffee, milk for drinks. Parking If you come by car, it will be conveniently parked just outside at the front of the house, which is off road. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I like to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Guests have access to their bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and garden. You can come and go as you please….a key will be provided. We are a bilingual family, fluent in English and Dutch. As this is our family home and we are happy to spend as much or little time interacting with you as you wish. I do go to work, during the day, but I will be around to make your stay as pleasant as possible. My house is situated on the edge of Stratford upon Avon. My nearest train station is Stratford Parkway, one stop before the main Stratford upon Avon station. It's only a few minutes walk to my house. My house is set back of the main Bishopton Lane and it's reached down my drive. Please park your car in front of the house which is off road. Below are things to do and see in Stratford, but please note some may be closed due to Covid, so please contact them first. For guests enjoying a gym workout there nearby a Xtreme Gym or an Anytime Gym in the centre of Stratford. Some of Stratford’s local attractions are the RSC theatre and Shakespeare’s birthplace and grave, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, the Butterfly Farm, boat hire on the river Avon, and plenty of boutique shops and restaurants. Mary Arden’s house in Wilmcote can be reach by scenic walk from my house along the canal or by car. The nearby scenic Cotswolds known for the chocolade box houses, Blenheim Palace, the Corinium Museum, Prince of Wales's gardens at Highgrove, and plenty of other places to explore such as the famous Hidcote and Kifsgate gardens, historic houses like Sudeley Castle and Coughton Court are also beautiful towns and villages to stroll through. I have plenty of tourist information guides for you to look through during your stay. The National Trust has Christmas Fayres at Hanbury Hall , Upon House and Coughton Court at different times in November and December. Other winter events are the Stratford upon Avon Christmas market, the Birmingham German Christmas market. Stratford upon Avon has now a very new luxury EveryMan cinema, which, if you fancy a lazy film night, is a great place to go to. I'm situated at the edge of Stratford, a two minute drive to the A46, which leads Coventry and to the M40 (Oxford, London, Birmingham). Birmingham International is the nearest International Airport, and Wellesbourne Airfield the nearest small aircraft airfield. Stratford Parkway train station is also a few minutes walk away, providing transport to Birmingham, Leamington Spa and Oxford, and also into Stratford! Park and Ride bus station is adjacent to the railway station if you wish to take a bus into town instead. A coach station is at the centre of Stratford upon Avon. From my house you can have a highly recommended lovely 30-40 minute walk along the canal (famous for having the most locks per mile in the country)which brings you to the centre of town. In town is a hop on hop off bus able to take you to all the Shakespeare houses, so you don't have to miss out if you have no car. Please note the room is only suitable for two guests. It's not suitable for children, and I can't accept booking including children under the age of 14 years of age. Please contact me first if you are thinking of booking to avoid being disappointed. I also like to let you know I have a small infant living here too. No previous guests have been adversely affected by this. He sleeps through the night, but this can't be guaranteed of course.
