'Mini B' holiday bungalow, Glyncorrwg
We are 1/2 an hour from the M4 and sitting in the most beautiful setting of Glyncorrwg, with stunning views, forestry walks, mountain biking and angling opportunities. Our super 2 bedroom bungalow, that we've nicknamed Mini B, provides a fully self contained, self catering holiday let and holds designated parking for 2 - 3 cars. There are 7 steps up to the front door and our drive is very steep. This is a detached, self contained bungalow that is let as a whole. We can sleep up to 6 people in the bungalow. Within the two main bedrooms we have beds that can be set up as follows: 1 double and 2 singles (our default arrangement) or 2 doubles or 4 singles Please advise at the time of booking what configuration you require the beds to be in for your stay. If we are not advised otherwise, the default arrangement will be in place. We also have a double sofa bed in the lounge for your use. If you have included use of this in your booking, we will leave bedding ready for you so that you can prepare the sofa bed when you are ready to retire, thereby enjoying the comfort of the two sofa's for the evening. Of the two sofas in the lounge it is the green one that folds down into a sofa bed. If you are with us for 6 days or more we will be happy to put on fresh linen for you during your stay. Please note also that Mini B is only 7 metres away from our main home as it was built in our garden as a granny annexe originally. We do our utmost to ensure that you feel comfortable and have privacy. Your SATNAV should bring you more or less to our door. As you enter Sunnybank you'll see some railings on the right side of the road that are leaning over - turn left at those (do not go any further into Sunnybank). This left turn will bring you onto the steep hill of our drive and you'll find your designated parking on your left (the lay by) which can comfortably take two cars. If it's your first trip to us, the steepness of our drive does take some getting used to! Mini B is in our garden - behind our house. There are 7 steps that lead up to the bungalow that guests need to be aware of should they have any mobility issues. We like to greet our guests on their arrival and provide them with a key, but we try not to outstay our welcome! Guests can contact us if they need assistance by knocking on our door or by phoning us. It can be very quiet here, and the neighbours are very friendly. There is a bus that leaves the village every 2 hours - a short walk of 5-10 mins to the bus stop, depending on the speed you walk! Taxi firms operate in the area. There is a local (Premier) shop in the village, in case you have forgotten any essential items, and both an Aldi and a Tesco store approximately 15mins drive away.
