The house nestles in a quiet village among the stunning Cotswold Hills, known as the walking and exploring capital of England and AONB. While surrounded by beautiful countryside, the house is only 5 minutes away from Cheltenham Racecourse with transport links to Cheltenham and other attractions such as Prescott Speed Hill Climb, the GWR Steam Line and Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park. There’s a generous driveway with space for 3 cars and an enclosed country garden with multiple seating areas. Inside, the kitchen & bathroom have been recently refurbished to a high spec with modern fittings while guests have a choice of 3 spacious double bedrooms with pocket sprung beds and hill views. The cosy living room has a modern fireplace and comfy sofas, while the downstairs also includes a separate dining room, well equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet and utility room with washing machine available for guests. The garden has 2 patio areas, one shady, one sunny - perfect for morning coffees, alfresco dining and evening sun chasers. Guests enjoy exclusive access to the whole house and garden. Easy key safe entry and exit. To the rear of the property is a totally self-contained annex and enclosed garden occupied by our lovely tennant. The only shared area is the side access to the rear of the property and utility area which houses 2 washing machines and a tumble dryer, one for guest use. There is also a new brabantia washing line in the garden. During your stay I am easily contactable and always endeavour to answer queries straight away! Cheltenham Racecourse is a 5 minute drive away along Kayte lane which leads to the back entrance of the racecourse. Just up the road is a family run newsagent, children’s play area and charming local pub ‘The Apple Tree’. A wider selection of walks and rambles are right on your doorstep, including Cleeve Common and The Cotswold Way. Bishops Cleeve is just a mile away with supermarkets, 2 pubs, and take-aways including 2 pizza, 3 Chinese, 3 Indian and 2 fish & chip shops. There’s a bus stop just up the road by the newsagents to Bishops Cleeve and Cheltenham City Centre etc. Cheltenham is a popular shopping destination with a large high street (John Lewis, Waterstones, H&M….etc) and unique independent shops, bars and cafes in the trendy Montpellier area. Cheltenham also hosts a wide variety of cultural attractions including music and jazz festivals, the Everyman Theatre and the popular outdoor swimming lido. The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is perfect for couples or families of up to 6. We are not taking bookings for large groups or parties (including stag or hen dos) and unfortunately are unable to accept pets. ***PLEASE NOTE maximum guests allowed INCLUDING children is 6 to abide with the terms and conditions of our house insurance.
