Our home is an tranquil 15th century manor house set in countryside, half a mile from Beckington with its 2 pubs, deli & lovely farm shop. We're in easy reach of Bath, Wells & Longleat. We have a double room with private bathroom, perfect for two. The house was built in 1460 and is set in large gardens with rolling fields all around. Your room and bathroom are at one end of the house and are private and peaceful. The rooms are decorated with comfort and luxury in mind, with tea & coffee making facilities and home made biccies in the bedroom and lovely soaps & shampoos to pamper yourself with in the bathroom. Breakfast is served in our dining room with fresh eggs from our hens, locally produced bacon & sausage, home made jams and compotes, yoghurt, seasonal fruits - either keep it light with a Continental style brekkie or go for the full English! Bedroom, bathroom, dining room for breakfast, garden when the weather allows! As much or as little as you want. I'm always around to give advice on places to go or to give dinner recommendations but equally I'll leave you to enjoy the farm's peace and tranquillity if that's what you'd prefer. We have easy access to the road network and major tourist sites like Bath, Wells, Longleat and Wookey Hole. We are however in the Somerset countryside with walks, wildlife and green spaces on our back door. Bus to the village of Beckington and then around 15 minute walk through the lanes to the farm.
