Literary suite in rural farm

The literary suite is inspired by the love of books. The suite opens direcly to a grass esplanade and flowering garden with swimming pool, the all inside a small rural farm with old olive and fruit trees. The suite has two bedrooms (both with double beds) and a shared bathroom. In the larger bedroom (where precious books are available) there is a table and a comfortable chair face to a window with a beautiful view over the grass and the large valley which may inspire your writting and reading. The suite is a fully independent part of a main rural house. It includes 2 bedrooms (both with confortable double beds) and 1 bathroom. It also includes a 3rd small room where a child may sleep (extra single bed, used also as sofa) and play (some children books and old toys are provided). The suite is excellent for resting. It gives you the feeling of a much rustic, relaxing and inspiring place. It is comfortable and ideal for week-ends, one week holiday or for a longer stay in Portugal (e.g., a sabbatical period). The suite is equipped with a full warm system beeing possible to be comfortably used in winter. A swimming pool surronded by a beautiful garden as well as a nicely equipped outdoor kitchen and eating spaces with barbecue are available. You may make your meals outside (full equipment is provided) or simply relax in one of the several terraces. I will try to make your stay as happy as possible and help in any specific needs or requests you may have. However, I may eventually not to be present during your stay. In that case, I will be available for any information or need through mobile and email contacts. Anyway, there is always Susana, a nice farmer living nearby, who may be contacted for help and for some house services you may be interested to get (8 euros per hour). The cottage is close to a village - Livramento (1.5 km) - where you may find all you need: small supermarket, grocery, cafes, restaurants, bank, mail post, pharmacy, church. The cottage is located 40 km from Lisbon, near the cities of Mafra (6km) and Torres Vedras (12km) and close to the wonderful beaches of Ericeira (12 km) and Ribeira de Ilhas (9km), a worldwide special place for surf. Nearby, you have a lot to see. You may visit the imposing Mafra Convent and Palace, the lively city of Torres Vedras (famous for its Carnaval), the charming and very touristic cities of Sintra, Cascais or Obidos. Portugal is a warm and sunny country. In Winter, rainy days may occur but it is rarely cold. Summer months of June, July and August have a refreshing breeze from the sea. Spring and Autumn are mild, ideal for sightseeing. You may also contact GLOCAL ERICEIRA, a rental agency expert offering several services. Transfer from the airport to your place and tours to visit beautiful Sintra, Obidos, or another amazing Portuguese city. Surf lessons and boat tours to fun and adrenaline moments. For more informations, contact us.” You may probably prefer to stay and enjoy the rural ambience of the farm, rest in the garden, reload your creativity, fill up your energy, spending time at the pool, walking across the countryside. Yet, you may also wish to visit the nice surroundings. In that case, I do recommend to rent a car. Small day-trips are really worth while. You may also escape to Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, Torres Vedras or Obidos or the wonderful the beaches nearby. The main house may eventually be occupied by the hosts.
