Set in the centre of North Curry at the heart of the Somerset Levels, Little Shambles was originally the village hardware store, now beautifully converted into a comfortable one bedroom cottage with modern fixtures and fittings. The village stores and pub are a minute away. Little Shambles has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including good Wi Fi, king size bed, en suite bathroom, washing machine and dryer, a private courtyard with BBQ and outside furniture. On street parking. A well appointed one bedroom cottage, suitable for 2 people and a dog. Your dog stays free. A large TV and WiFi, comfy sofa and arm chair provide a restful sitting area, and there is room to dine for two at the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven, microwave and all the pots and pans, crockery and utensils needed. The bathroom has a large bath and shower over with heated towel rail. Towels are provided for your visit. Underfloor heating keeps the cottage really warm and cosy. The kingsize bed is comfy and the bedroom has lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The private courtyard has a BBQ, and comfortable outdoor furniture. Washing machine and dryer are in the outhouse. An iron and ironing board are provided. On street parking is available alongside the Cottage or on the main street, or in the Square all close to the Cottage. Just 10 minutes from Junc 25 of the M5, Little Shambles is self contained. The village is surrounded by open countryside with plenty of walking available. The Levels provide the nature lover with lots of bird spotting opportunities. There is plenty of cycling too, and with the river and canal nearby, paddle boarding and kyaking and wild swimming. Exmoor, the Jurassic coast, Glastonbury, Exeter and Minehead are all just 45 mins in the car. Little Shambles has a bus route into Taunton on it's doorstep. It's nearest railway station is Taunton. It's an easy drive to the ancient town of Langport. Glastonbury, Wells, Exeter and Frome. Lyme Regis and the stunning Jurrasic coast is a 45 minute drive. Just 10 mins to Junc 25 of the M5 or to join the A303. Little Shambles is dog friendly and your pooch stays free.
