Cosy Sussex Flint Cottage in the Cuckmere Valley

A charming flint faced cottage in the beautiful village, Litlington, in the stunning South Downs National Park (meters from the South Downs Way). The perfect location for a range of activities as well as offering a comfortable get away. A range of excellent pubs all within walking distance! Plenty on the To-Do-List! A small traditional farm cottage in a lovely village. The cottage offers a unique and tranquil location with a summer house overlooking the garden and renowned Cuckmere Valley. A cosy little cottage with an open fire in the living room and an Aga in the kitchen. The good sized kitchen with both an Aga and an electric oven, round table and washing machine. Sleeping for six upstairs in three bedrooms, with the toilet and bathroom both downstairs. The cottage offers beautiful views of the Cuckmere Valley and plenty of outside space, with a front and back garden along with a little vegetable patch! Dogs are always welcome, but please not on the furniture or upstairs. There is plenty of parking, either on the lane, or in the village hall car park, we just ask that you leave space for other passing vehicles! The cottage is ~50m up the private lane on the left. To get to the cottage (Number 3) you must go up the steps and passed cottage Numbers 1 & 2, which share the access for the steps and path around the front of the cottage. If needed, I am easily available to help with any issues or questions. We offer you whatever space you require. As a farmer, I am always interested in showing my guests round the farmyard and showcasing British Agriculture, if they are interested in seeing what we do and where their food comes from all you need to do is ask! A stones throw from the South Downs Way for fantastic walks and the nearest train stations are Berwick, Polegate, Eastbourne and Seaford. Polegate offers the better service with easy access to Brighton, Eastbourne and London. All four train stations approximately 20 minutes by car.
