Stylish, cosy, comfortable room with queensize bed

We have taken special measures regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) to keep you safe. The original farmhouse of La Cour des Delices is now the exclusive domain of our guests with 3 guestrooms in a walled garden with swimming pool. It is located in a typical Burgundy rural village surrounded by a rolling countryside. Within an hour’s drive there are several towns, cities, castles, abbeys and markets to visit. Also golfcourses and the vineyards of Chablis, Cremant de Bourgogne and Champagne. The stylish, cosy comfortable guestroom with queensize boxspring 160 x 200 on the ground floor overlooks the garden and the swimming pool. There are some authentic elements in the room such as an old fireplace structure. The 60 cm thick stone walls however help keep the heat outside in summertime. There is a living | lounge | library with french doors which open to the private terrace of the guesthouse. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room. We offer an extensive breakfast with croissants, baguette, fresh orange juice, jam, cheese, ham, biological eggs, fresh fruit, homemade granola, yoghurts, € 10,00 pp. Coffee and tea is available all day. Table d’hôtes on request one day in advance. Welcome in all areas of the garden. There are several sitting areas in the over 350 square meter walled garden. In the guesthouse is a living-room | lounge | library. This authentic room with french doors that open into the garden is a shared space for the 3 guest rooms. One guestroom is downstairs, the other 2 rooms are on the first floor. In the living is the staircase to the first floor. We would love to give you some tips for trips or activities in the neighbourhood. We speak Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish. Table d’hôtes on request If you join us at our table d’hôtes we hope to enjoy a diner with a mix of interesting people, have lively conversations and can share a memorable evening! Gigny is located in Burgundy, departement Yonne (89) Clean air! Lovely countryside, woods, grain, sunflowers, organic vegetable nursery, cheesefarms, Chateau d'Ancy-le-Franc, Chateau de Tanlay and Chateau de Maulnes Tell us how you would like to come to La Cour des Delices, by car, plane or train and we will provide you with information or we can arrange a pickup by the trainstation of Montbard. An electric car charger is available in Ancy-le-Franc, 10 km. Possibility to make use of a shared refrigerator. Ten minutes away are bakerys, supermarkets, banks and pharmacies. Three times a week a baker comes into the village with baguettes and croissants. The biological vegetable nursery at the outskirts of the village sells vegetables in the fields 2-3 times per week. Almost every morning there is a market in one of the towns nearby. No dogs allowed.
