Studio style room with separate kitchen diner

Weir Lodge is located in the beautiful Dorset countryside not far from Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat Safari Park, Gold Hill, Monkey World, Sherborne Castle and the Jurassic Coast. The house provides stunning views across the River Stour valley and the Thomas Hardy Dorset countryside. Its centrally located for fun packed days out and quiet relaxing evenings. The house is located within a private equestrian farm estate and only 5 minutes walk to an award winning pub and Spar shop in village. A studio style apartment with separate external access from the main house. The main room has a king size bed, sofa bed, 42" TV and fitted wardrobe. The kitchen has a sink, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and breakfast bar with 3 seats. There is a wet room (bathroom) consisting of a shower, sink and toilet. Outside at the front of the property there is a small bistro table & 2 chairs plus a wooden table and chairs on the lawn for outside informal dinning. There is also a BBQ (charcoal NOT included) available for cooking on. Guests will have sole access to the apartment, with their own separate entrance, kitchen, bed/sit area and wet room. As the apartment is on the ground floor of our house, albeit with separate access, we are available most of the time in case of issues or questions. Or if guests prefer, they can contact us via Airbnb messaging. As this is an extremely rural area with no public transport, we would strongly recommend the need for a car. The nearest train station is Gillingham (in Dorset - make sure you don't go to Gillingham, Kent instead!). This is approx. 10 mins drive from the house. Taxis can sometimes be found waiting at the station, but usually need to be booked in advance.
