Large sunny room, beautiful lake view & parking

Located in a charming renovated historic building located on it’s own floor this large, bright room directly faces the lake offering wonderful views of the mountains. Relax in a large comfortable armchair and appreciate the tranquility. For your convenience amenities include a TV, a screen with HDMI and VGA connection for home office and a music system, connect your mobile phone to enjoy listening to your own music. The bathroom and toilet are almost exclusively for your own use. The open-plan living room accessible by guests features a Swedish stove and also picturesque views over Lake Zurich. Also, you can use the fully equipped modern kitchen and place items in the fridge. Guests also have access to the living room and the kitchen and are allowed to co-use them. So that I can continue to charge no costs for cleaning and other guests also benefit from it, I kindly ask you to keep order and cleanliness. I am at work during the week, mostly at home in the evenings and I look forward to interesting conversations! Guests can contact me by mobile phone at any time for questions. Within a short walk of the apartment, at the bus stop named "Auf Dorf" there is a supermarket open 7 days a week, also there is a little farm shop next door to the house for market fresh produce. By public transport you can easily travel to the city of Zurich offering entertainment and dining for all. For a day trip, the charming small town of Rapperswil is just a little further along the lake. Free parking also provides the option for guests arriving by car to the region. In summer you can swim in the Lake of Zurich, and also enjoy water sports and boat cruises. By car: Follow the GPS to the address given in the description. Opposite the house, on the other side of the street, you will find the parking place. By public transport: From Zurich Mainstation (Zurich HB) take the S7 in the direction of “Rapperswil” and get off at the stop“Männedorf’. Tip! To enjoy the wonderful lake view, I recommend you take a seat at the front of the train and sit on the right hand side facing the direction of travel. On arrival to Männedorf, you will see the bus station adjacent, take the bus number “940” for about 5 minutes, exit at "Auf Dorf" the third stop. Turn right at the roundabout and from there the house is about 8 minutes on foot. From Rapperswil take the train S7 in the direction towards “Winterthur’. To enjoy the lakeside view take a seat on the left at the back of the carriage facing the direction of travel. On arrival to Männedorf at the bus station, take bus number 925 to the stop "Auf Dorf". Turn right at the roundabout and walk to the house, about 8 minutes on foot. On occasions my two teenage children spend time in the apartment, thank you in advance for extending consideration when they are at home.
