The Dome - Luxury glamping with spectacular views

Luxury glamping at its best - OPENED IN JULY 2021 - The Dome at Mid Auchengowan enjoys spectacular views over the countryside and Castle Semple Loch, design-led interiors and a very peaceful location (perfect for stargazing and for relaxation). We are only 15min from Glasgow Airport and 25min from the town centre. The Dome features a lovely lounge and dining area from where to enjoy the views, cooking facilities (2 ring hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle) and a wood-burning stove (we supply the first basket of logs, if you need more, you can buy at most of the shops in the area) , two king-size beds, mains electricity, Smart TV and wifi. Attached to the dome there is a little hut with the shower room, so that you don't need to walk outside to use the loo (high-tech composting toilet) or to enjoy a warm shower. Outside you will be able to sit by a roaring fire, while having a BBQ and looking at the views or at the stars. Truly magical. The access to the dome is from the road called Knowes Road. There is a parking area for 1 car (please park any other cars at the main house). You will need to walk about 150 m from the car to your accommodation. We are located just 2 miles outside Lochwinnoch and its beautiful Castle Semple Loch where you can enjoy waters ports like canoeing, sailing and windsurfing. A birds' sanctuary is only 1 miles away. Glasgow airport can be reached by car in 12 minutes, Glasgow city centre in 25 minutes. Lochwinnoch train station is only 1 mile from the farm.
