Former water mill of the Abbey Sauve-Majeure dating back circa 1100 transformed by the Bordeaux architect Olivier Martin. Nestled in 6 acres of land (Natura 2000) and surrounded by vineyards, golfers will appreciate the Golf Teynac (18 holes) at 3 mins and wine enthusiasts the vineyards of neighboring Saint-Emilion. At 18 km from Bordeaux center, couples and families will enjoy this very unusual place, its tranquility, architectural space, history and its natural swimming pool. Our house is big and spacious 400 sqm and can accommodate up to 8 people, 2 families of 4 or any other combination. Obviously smaller families or couple of friends are very welcome. You will have a lot of space. It is the perfect place for families who want to relax while the kids are playing inside the house if weather is cold and rainy, the main gallery is 30 meters long and the kids can scooter around and there is living space dedicated to the kids and toys while you can enjoy a glass of wine away from the trepidations. Or if the weather is hot enjoy our beautiful 18m long natural swimming pool. No chlorine or salt to rinse after swimming. Older kids and dads will also be able to play against each other on the table foot or the ping pong table. For the mums or dads who would like to go golfing while everybody else relaxes, you can either hop in the car and drive 3 minutes to the next door golf de Teynac or if you feel like walking, a 12 minutes walk will bring you there as well. No need to bring your clubs, they do rent some out. Couples will have enough space to share and feel very comfortable. And when you had enough of the relaxing and the quiet, you can drive either to Bordeaux which is about 20 minutes, Saint-Emilio (25 minutes away), Libourne (12 minutes) and many more places.
