It is full of life through the year, with several restaurants and cafes, a chocolatier (2nd place in France's Best Boulangerie 2019), independent boutiques, a supermarket, a weekly market and even its own cinema. There are lots of beautiful historic towns in the vicinity with plenty of great restaurants and shops to explore, including Duras, Eymet and St Foy la Grande. We are around 1 hour from Bordeaux and 45 minutes from St Emilion, and Bergerac airport is about 50 minutes. We highly recommend you rent a car to make the most of the region, but we have bikes you can use to pop up to the town for croissants, or to explore the area.
