Decorated in calming colours it is the perfect place to relax and listen to music, play games or watch the 43 inch freeview tv. The cosy bedrooms make for a restful night's sleep. Bedroom 1 has super comfortable double bed . Bedroom 2 has a hotel king size zip link bed that can be divided into 2 singles. Both have high quality Egyptian cotton sheets. If 2 guests require separate bedrooms please advise Anita in advance of your visit. In these circumstances a single bed will be prepared. Enjoy cooking in the brand new fitted kitchen which has all the utensils required for making meals. A hamper of complimentary holiday food and beverage essentials will be awaiting your arrival. However there is a key safe at their house if you should arrive at an unusual hour. Avening is a beautiful Cotswold village nestled in the hillside. The perfect base to explore the local area on foot or by car. There are plenty of short, medium or long distance routes for walkers plus lots to see and do in the locality. Explore the amazing countryside, towns and villages of the Cotswolds where there are many superb pubs, restaurants and cafes. Avening has 2 pubs in the heart of the village. The Queen Matilda serves a fabulous range of dishes and a superb Sunday lunch. The Bell has a friendly, social atmosphere for those who want to enjoy an authentic Indian curry and a pint. 5 mins drive will take you to a farm cafe with fresh local produce and many more pubs, restaurants, and cafes . If you enjoy a wander around local individual shops this is the place for you as there are plenty nearby. Swim, sail, fish or water ski at South Cerney waterparks where there are many adventures to be had.
