Listen to the birdsong morning and evening, especially in spring/summer. With the Pentland Hills we have the luxury of woodland, a few reservoirs, and beautiful scenery. This is also a great location to start a walk or cycle along the Water of Leith. Additionally there is a choice of retail parks a short drive away including The Gyle, Livingston, Straiton. The 44 bus route links to Edinburgh city centre. The 63 bus passes Hermiston Gait retail park, The Gyle Shopping Centre, and terminates at Queensferry where the famous bridges can be viewed. The nearest bus stop is at the end of Marchbank Gardens on Mansfield Road. Convenient Free Parking if you have a vehicle.
