Maglona Holiday Cottage sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. Two double, one twin single and one twin bunk (bunks are slightly shorter than a standard bed. With a lounge (TV), dining room for 8, kitchen with breakfast area, conservatory and enclosed patio with raised flower/shrub beds there is ample room for an extended family or 2 families sharing. Maglona has a dedicated parking area for one vehicle within our adjacent property with additional free on street parking in Albert Street. Sleeping 8 in four bedrooms with family bathroom, shower room and downstairs w.c. Dining room for 8 seated, lounge, conservatory, patio with raised borders in an enclosed garden. Maglona can accommodate a large extended family or 2 families sharing. Check current Covid19 local regulations before booking. Guests have access to all areas. Hosts are located next door in private property and can be called upon for any assistance. Maglona is located on a quiet street off a road junction with easy access to Aberaeron town centre. There is a large park with children's playground located opposite across a one way street. Aberaeron is a hub for public transport with regular 30 - 60 minute services to Aberystwyth, New Quay, Cardigan, Lampeter and Carmarthen. Nearest train stations - Aberystwyth to the North 16 miles, Carmarthen to the South 32 miles. There are four public car parks with the town, mostly pay and display. If you do arrive earlier, please give me a call as we may be able to let you into the property earlier if it is ready. There is a keysafe located to the right of the front door and the code will be provided. If there is anything you need during your stay please do not hesitate to contact me. There is on street parking, and also the front bay in the yard next to the yellow shop which is our business. If you are going to be eating out is it highly recommended to book in advance as many of the cafés and restaurants are being booked early. Guest Information Please take the time to read through this information in order that you can feel safe and secure during your stay. Booking and arrival The accommodation can sleep up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Guests must follow the Welsh Assembly Government legislation in force at the time of their stay, e.g. whether your guest party must comprise individuals from the same household or whether it ca be shared by two separate households. You must not travel to the accommodation if anyone in the guest party has symptoms of the Coronavirus, i.e. a persistent cough, fever, a loss or change in their sense of taste or smell. Our professional cleaning contractor has requested extra time in order to fully prepare the accommodation for your safe visit. Therefore, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 5pm on the start of the stay and leave by 10am on your day of departure. On the day you start your holiday, please contact us for the PIN number for the key safe which houses the key to the accommodation. The use of the key safe ensures social distancing. Cleaning The accommodation is thoroughly cleaned and all linen and consumables removed and replaced before each new occupancy. This includes items such as cleaning products, and tea/coffee/sugar sachets. Cutlery and crockery is cleaned between guests and frequently touched items are disinfected, e.g. door handles, light switches, TV remote. In order to reduce the risk and cleaning required, we are not providing towels/tea towels/oven gloves and some soft furnishings have been removed, e.g. scatter cushions, throws. We have also removed the books and DVDs that were previously in the accommodation for our guests to use. Following the guidelines we will be leaving crockery and cutlery for the number of guests staying at the property. We would ask that all cutlery and crockery used is washed in the dishwasher prior to vacating the property. Please note that we will provide a number of dishwasher tablets for your use during your stay in the welcome basket. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the property. The tumble dryer requires the drawer to be emptied and the filter to be cleaned after every use. Please note that we will not be providing washing tablets. On the day of departure, please strip all bedlinen from the beds and place in recycling bags and leave in the room. Corona virus symptoms We kindly ask that you observe the Corona virus guidelines which have been put in place by the UK Government, Welsh Assembly Government, local Councils and businesses in order to have a safe and enjoyable stay and to protect the Welsh hospitality and tourism industry. If someone in your guest party develops symptoms of the virus, we ask that you inform us immediately. In line with Government guidance and for everyone’s safety, you will be asked to return home and self-isolate.
