Situated in the village of Trusham, Middle Wicket is a beautiful 4 bedroom upside down house in a quiet rural village with exceptional views around the valley. There are many walks to enjoy in the surrounding countryside, Relax by the fire and finish the day off in the Hot Tub that the property has to offer. It's 5 minute walk to the Cridford Pub, 8 miles from Exeter, 10 miles from the stunning South Devon Coast, and 3 miles from Dartmoor National Park. Middle Wicket has been fitted with a brand new kitchen, including all appliances, wine cooler microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also new Oak flooring upstairs in the lounge which opens out onto a balcony with stunning views across the valley. On the same floor is a shower room as well as a children’s playroom with a double sofa bed. Central heating through out, and log burner in the lounge for cosy evenings. 14 steps lead down to the large decking area with modern hot tub and a large outdoor sofa and table to enjoy sunny evenings. The large enclosed private rear garden is perfect for children and dogs. The property has 2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms downstairs along with family bathroom and utility room with washer dryer. The first floor also has a play room which has a double sofa bed in it (making it 5 possible bedrooms in total). The play room has a DVD player, games and a Wii to keep the children occupied and even the adults. Middle Wicket is a detached 4 bedroom house with private access, parking for 3 cars at the front of the property and a large private enclosed rear garden. Trusham is small village in the scenic Teign Valley in South Devon. It is a quiet and peaceful village, where you can hear the birds echoing along the valley. You can often see Deer in the hills and Buzzards flying above. If you are looking forward to a relaxing quiet time away then this is the property for you. This property and village isn’t suitable for parties, Just half a mile away is Dartmoor National Park which is a hikers paradise with stunning Tors and rugged countryside. The Haldon Forest Park is only 2 miles from Trusham where you can enjoy activities such as Go Ape Tree Top Adventure, off road cycle trails, horse riding, Segway Tours and much more set in 3500 acres of woodland. Within 20 minutes you can reach the beach in Teignmouth and Shaldon too. Approx 30 minutes away is Torbay. A lot of activities to keep the children occupied such as: Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village and so much (Website hidden by Airbnb) a fantastic place to stay whether it’s the hot summer evenings or cold frosty evenings sat in front of a cosy log burner. If you love walks and the Great outdoors, there is plenty to choose from in the area. In the centre of the village, 5 minutes walk from Middle Wicket, is the local pub called the Cridford Inn. This 1000 year old pub is well known for it's locally sourced menu and traditional ales. Trusham is only 3 miles from main A38 dual carriageway and 8 miles from Exeter where there is a main line train station and Airport. Directly from the village there are a variety of country walks. The Teign Valley is popular with cyclists. No parties or noisy gatherings to be held at this property. If you are looking for a lively spot to host a loud party Middle Wicket isn’t for you.If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time away, to enjoy the countryside this is the place for you. Please be aware that noise can travel across the valley, we have lovely neighbours and villagers whom we would like to keep as friends and not to upset them. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Middle Wicket is a no smoking property. Fireworks and Chinese Lanterns are forbidden due to the surrounding thatch roofs. Hot tub to be turned off at 10pm. £110cleaning fee.
