The Orangery and the Stables of the Château have been renovated with taste and passion for a great relaxing family home result. Each of these 2 large houses welcome 8 to 9 people (+baby), for a total of 18 guests. The great volumes, the beautiful park, the woodland, the play area, the secured swimming pool (12x7m), make it the ideal destination for family and friends gatherings. GITE 2 - THE ORANGERY A gîte for up to 8 people (+1 small child/ baby); 4 bedrooms; spacious living space (300m2); ancient stone fireplace; big kitchen/dining room with access to the terrace; bbq and outdoor furniture; private park with pool and woods; complimentary wi-fi connection. A warm and comfortable place to come and relax with your friends and family. THE AREA: Gascony, the homeland of the illustrious d'Artagnan has always been synonymous with tradition, calm and 'joie de vivre'. Its sunny hills and valleys- reminiscent of Tuscany- are the perfect place for a unique and beautiful holiday. The Gers, with its rich cultural and historical heritage, its old fortified towns, its traditional festivities, and its exquisite food will charm you through the seasons. The Gers is also renown for its music festivals -Jazz In Marciac, Country Music in Mirande, Tempo Latino in Vic Fezensac- and the many evening markets during the summer nights. The gites are perfectly located just a short drive from golf courses, tennis courts, a big outdoor swimming pool and horse riding clubs in Mirande; as well as activities for the children. . For those just keen on soaking up the rich local culture, there is a plethora of ancient villages bursting with exciting history and traditions. A large park, the private pool, woodland around the houses, terrasses with bbq and outdoor furniture for each house, outdoor play for the children (sandpits, swings and slide, toys, books). Private entrance to the houses with private parking. We live in the Chateau near the 2 gites, and are on site should you require any help or assistance during your stay. Gascony is a beautiful part of the world. Calm, friendly, the French Tuscany with its hills and views onto the Pyrenees. Famous for its local food such as duck, beef, the Gers will show you what the Bon Vivant life is! You will need a car as it is famously recognised as the most rural part of France!
