Welcome to our cozy one bedroom penthouse flat on the island of Brač boasting 65 sqm space and a balcony. Our family house is a traditional Dalmatian stone house built only 6 m from the sea on the property of 1500 sqm hidden in the shadow of 50 year old Mediterranean trees. Those who want to spend their vacation in the quiet place next to the sea should come to us – to our little village of Bobovišća na Moru on the southwest side of the island. Our house is in the isolated and quiet bay with a beautiful view to the sea. The apartment is Mediterrenean styled, clean , newly refurbished, spacious enough for 4 persons. There is one bedroom, new kitchen with a dining room equipped with all the appliances, air conditioned living room with a fireplace, a big sofa bed plus an armchair bed which can be a bed for 1 child, spacious bathroom with a tub, a shower, a washing machine and hairdryer and a separate wc. There is free WiFi and cable tv, a grill in the garden and a private parking place in front of the house. In the apartment you will find clean towels, sheets , dishware and a collection of games for children and adults. Whether you like to rest your soul watching the sea and doze off listening to the crickets and soothing waves feeling the refreshing breeze or to spend romantic moments with the loved ones this place is ideal for you. The delightful smell of lemon and orange trees, cypresses, lavender, rosemary, bay trees, sage and basil will relax you. Shaded seating areas in the garden provide a place to unwind on a balmy summer evening or enjoy your coffee with the first rays of sunshine. You can enjoy your meals al fresco under a pergola of scented climbing plants or under a covered veranda if it rains. Our beach is a combination of sand for children and stone paved parts with sundeck chairs in the shadow of olive and pine trees. There is also an open air shower, near another terrace where you can do morning yoga , sunbathe or enjoy watching a spectacular sunset with a glass of wine. There are two SUP boards and two bikes at your disposal. We live on the ground floor and will be there to help you and welcome you . We have an olive grove nearby where we produce extra virgin olive oil, we make our own liquors with Dalmatian herbs, grow organic vegetables and have chickens and ducks…we can't wait to share some of our produce with you. My name is Irena, I am a retired teacher and I speak English, Italian, German, Spanish and French, my husband Gjuro is also a newly retired civil engineer who can repair almost everything and our son Pavo an architect who helped with the redecorating our penthouse (together with his wife Anka) will be a contact person. Both Gjuro and Irena got their COVID-19 vaccine. We are looking forward to welcoming you in our little paradise! Bobovišća na moru is located on the west coast of the island of Brač in a beautiful cove that branches into two ports; Bobovišća na moru and Vičja luka. Bobovišća harbour has always been attractive to navigation experts and Vičja luka is interesting for its Illyrian and Greek civilisation sites. The property is secluded from the touristic rush but on the other hand it is only 5 minutes walking distance from the center ot the village were you can find two restaurants & cafes and one small shop for all the necessities you need. There is a private parking place for your car in front of the house. The bus station is located 1 km from the house, which is about ten-minute walk. There is only one apartment in our family house so you will be the only guests on the entire estate with all the terraces shown in the pictures at your disposal. The neighborhood is not densely built so you will find our place safe, quiet and isolated; just perfect for your vacation.
