LesnaVesna designer's appartment with a garden.

Our 70 m2 apartment is in a quiet place in the countryside, in the elevated ground floor and direct access to the (shared) garden with a view to the mountains. Two rooms, living room, bathroom, a kitchen with dining table and entrance. The garden is spacious, and you can use outdoor toys. There is also a treehouse for kids. Located 25 minutes from Ljubljana and 30 mins from Bled. A little closer the beautiful lake of Preddvor, Krvavec ski resort. 5 min. from the airport. The apartment has been designed by us with a careful selection of unique pieces made by us and references to the surrounding nature. LesnaVesna wooden lighting, vintage furniture, a series of (my) acuarelas depicting the area, hand-printed textiles etc are all insights to local Slovenian tradition, but also to a designer's way of life. We are a couple of architects/ designers with two children and we LOVE to design and work with wood (and are authors of little LesnaVesna brand). We have a small workshop in the basement where many of the pieces of this apartment were cut and hand-finished. Apartment is spacious, covering 70 m2, bright and sun-lit. It is located in elevated ground floor, with a living room that has a direct exit to the garden. Vast garden is shared with my family, together with our kids' tree house, where children can play. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the garden, while your child runs freely after a ball.. and seize your moment of your vacation in Slovenia! The apartment is located in our house in the ground floor and we live in the upper floor. Although we share the entrance your apartment is totally independent and for yourself, and you have direct access to the garden. We live in the floor above, so anything you would need, you just need to ask. I am from Slovenia and my husband is from Spain, and after living in Belgium and Spain we installed in the small village of Luže to live in a relaxed family environment. We are extroverted and like to meet people from different parts of the world, but we also totally understand one's need for privacy. Luže is a small, very safe and peaceful village surrounded by nature; and thus ideal for families or couples looking for relaxed, stress-free time. There is a big garden to be shared with our family and with nice view to the mountains if you proceed to the end of the garden. Our village is very close to the highway (7min) and near to major touristic attractions of Slovenia such as Bled or Ljubljana, and also close to other nice but less known sites (Jezersko, lake Preddvor, Kamnik, castle Strmol, forests, etc.). You can take a walk in the fields just exiting our house, go horse-riding (our neighbours have a stable with horses), go on a bike excursion to a nearby hill or through the villages, go to pick mushrooms etc. A tip for a coffee: castle Strmol is our favourite place with nice gardens and playground for kids and the castle for a cultural visit. Krvavec sky resort and bike park are only 10 min. from home. Need to freshen up? Nearby Kokra river is clean, or step into the narby Črjnjava lake in Preddvor. Center of Ljubljana is 25 min drive and the- one and only- lake Bled 30 min away. There is only one bus that connects with Kranj, so private car is the best option to move around. You can use our bikes though to explore the surroundings. Municipality charges 1.45e per person per day of TOURIST TAX that is charged upon arrival. Children up to 7 years free-of-charge, children aged 7-18 years 50% discount in tourist tax. Use of children crib 5e/day.
