The house is located next to the lake of Biel and is a great spot for swimming and water sports. The owners, my parents, live on the upper floor and the private space for guests is on the ground floor. Guests can rent the flat or a room (see other listings) with weekly or monthly discounts. The big and wild garden in front of the house offers a unique swimming spot surrounded by nature. Ideal for watching birdlife. The flat and rooms are cosy with wooden walls and garden/lake views. All mattresses and beds are new and of high quality (Bico and Happysleep). Each room has a cupboard, desk and chair. There is no kitchen. A fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, a boiler, table, chairs and dishes/cutlery are available. In the garden, a fire place and a barbecure {plancha} are available. Covid-19: the flat has its own entrance and is completely separated. Cleaning inclusive desinfection is undertaken according to Airbnb's guidelines. A 2-3 days gap between guests is respected. Guests have access to their private flat with bathroom on a separate floor. They have access to the garden, beach and barbecue area, including all garden furniture. Guests can also use the laundry room. Hosts can provide information about the region, walking trails and leisure activities. They speak English, French, German and Spanish. A restaurant is located 100 meters away. The nearby public beach offers beach-volley courts, a football field, barbecue spots, rental of stand-up paddle boards and is a great location for kite surfing. The train station, city centre and old town are situated within 15 minutes walking distance. Public parking spaces are available next to the house, partly free of charge and partly for a small parking fee.
