Cosy, romantic and very idyllic private cabin in the woods with a view at an ancient castle at the Tatanka Ranch for 2 persons with 2 single beds ( 90/200m) lovely spot surrounded by woods, beautiful views of the foothills of the Auvergne with castle! Only 5 min from the highway A75!! A perfect place to relax! A safe place to Be! A safe place to be in these difficult times, it is isolated but not to isolated. An amazing place in the middle of nature, no neighbours, no other rentals, no other people just the owners, no thru road, no paved road, at the end of a non paved rural small road. No noises, just an occasional tractor and the birds. A place to relax and unwind from the big city and work stress, here life is still slow and basic although the cabin "Tatanka Ranch"is very comfortable and fully equipped. There is a tv with no channels just for the dvd player. The Auvergne listed top 10 of lonely Planet best destinations of the world! Breakfast is included and can be served between 8.00 Am and 9.00 AM. Coffee, tea, orange juice, eggs or yogurt croissants, butter, jam and some cheese, this breakfast will be served in the cabin or outside on the terrace. The cabin is remote, but only 5 min drive from the Auto Route A 75 is on a very special location, in the middle of nature and yet so close to the "city world". Lots of hiking/biking trails nearby, very beautiful refreshing river Allagnon only 5 min drive. The views are breathtaking, the climate is perfect at an altitude 600m Owners live on property, 1 access on terrain, but private entrance of the cabin and a private parking spot. Owners are all ways at distance and are vert much aware of covid rules. Everything is desinfected according to the guide lines of Airbnb. We are a Dutch couple with multinational experiences, we are friendly-open and respectful people; we expect the same from our guests!! It is situated in the mountains of the Cantal ( plombs du Cantal) Highest top 1800m It opens in December till about April, depends of the snow situation. All kinds of winter sports, even in summertime a remarkable spot to go to, cable car to the top of the mountain with unforgettable untouched nature. Not many tourists in summertime, so you can explore without to many people around you, very exceptional place to visit. There is no public transportation but we organize personal excusrsions on demand to the most spectacular spots in the Auvergne!! The cabin at the Tatanka Ranch is only 5 min drive from the A75 exit 21 Highway 75 is a toll free highway from Clermont-Ferrand to the south of France. 15 min drive to the first amenities in Massiac. Sorry, no infants, no kids, no babies and no pets! Follow the signs for the Tatanka Ranch. The small road at the end to the Tatanka Ranch is an unpaved rural road, which provide you access with any vehicle. This rural road guaranties our guests the quietness of the cabin at the Tatanka Ranch. We live on the same property as the Studio, we are there to help or assist in a very discrete way. Minimum stay 5 nights In the French country side with view of old castle, in the middle of the woods and open fields, a way from the world and yet only 5 min drive from the A75 autoroute to the south of France. There is no public transport. But we offer excursions to the lovely spots in the Auvergne. Those excursions has a personal touch we guide you in your own language ( french, english, dutch) in a very comfortable car to the beautiful places we know! Several possibilties available from with or without lunch, to a whole day excursion with breathtaking views of the volcanos. If interested we can inform you of the different possibilities and prices.
