Toby's Windows on the City

This spacious bedroom with queen size bed (160x200 cm) in our 250 year old home provides everything you need to feel comfortable. Our quiet house borders the forest yet puts you 15 to 30 minutes by bus from the city centre, Kirchberg or the train station (free public transport throughout the country). You'll wake up with the sunshine coming right through the three windows, provided there are no clouds in the sky! Best way to start the day… Toby was one of our early guests ... He booked for a couple of weeks, and ended up staying almost 2 years! That's how this room officially became "Toby's Room"! It's our biggest room, with a confortable bed, a desk, a dresser and a nice and soft sofa, but also enough space to move around! We want our guests to feel at home, so they have access to the whole house, including living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, patio and garden, and most important, the coffee machine! The guest bathroom is shared with the other guests. My partner and I live and work in this house, and we might have a couple more guests staying too. As we are quite busy, you might not see us very much, but still at least once a day. We're there to help you with anything, or answer any question about us, the house, Luxembourg or our beautiful country. Muhlenbach is a very calm neighbourhood, where the biggest noise is usually produced by birds in the nearby forest. Very few cars are driving down our road, as it is a dead end. Children might be playing on the street in the summer! Ideal location if you work in town and like to spend some time out in the woods walking or running. Public Transport is free in the whole country! However, you can surely discover the city walking. City Center is about 30’ away by foot. Ask us to have the scenic route explained before setting off for a beautiful day. The bus line 21 is located at a 6 minutes walking distance (Bus stop “Siwemuergen") and takes you every 15 minutes (30’ on Sundays) to the city centre (“Royal-Hamilius” 11’), via the Stäreplaz where you can hop on the tram and quickly get to the Station or the Kirchberg Business and European District. You can also walk to the Pfaffenthal Railways Station (30’), take the train to any place in the country or the funicular up to the Plateau level and there hop on the tram. We also have a Vel’Oh e-bike station at a 6’ walk down the road, where you can easily rent a bike to move around town. If you're by car, you can park it in our private and enclosed driveway. Since we have an electric car ourselves, we have a three phase charging point available for your EV as well (we cannot guarantee compatibility). We do have two cats, Kniddel & Knetsch, and one playful dog, Linc, who are all over the house and the world, and the first thing they'll want to do, is come and see your's! If you 'd like some privacy, please make sure to close your door, so that these cute little creatures don't invade your space in just the time of a glimpse!
