Close to Bredäng metro station (a 4 mins walk) and the city is just a short metro ride away! Ideal for weekend trips! LONG TERM GUESTS ARE WELCOME BUT AVAILABLE ONLY FOR SINGLE GUEST. Space is not suitable for small children. Perfect place to get your beauty sleep in between your sightseeing & excursions of Stockholm. My home is environmentally (organic, reuse, reduce and recycle to the best of my knowledge) and LGBT friendly :) Bed sheets and towels are included. The bed is in an alcove, and it's almost like getting into a cave when you go to bed. Check in time is flexible, BUT PLEASE let me know an approx. check in time upon booking. Short term guests: Private Bedroom, Private WC and shower room, space in shared fridge, space in kitchen cupboard (private), access to balcony. Meals should be consumed in the dinning area. Long term guests (a month and more): all of the above and access to kitchen ware and stove and oven. Access to (common) laundry facilities , you will be given a "starter supply" of soap, tp, cleaning supply, that you will have to replenish for yourself. For long term guest it would be more of a flatshare situation where we both take responsibility for keeping common spaces tidy and your own spaces clean. I have a full-time job, so my interaction with guests might be minimal on weekdays. But I'm happy to let you know all of my favorite places around town. Bredäng is a suburb in south-west Stockholm, Sweden. It is a part of Skärholmen borough and is named after a former farm in the area. Bredäng consists predominantly of 1960s apartment blocks and has a camping site by Lake Mälaren. Sätraskogens nature reserve (Sätraskogens naturreservat) is walking distance away and makes for a lovely walk. Also walking distance away is Mälarhöjdsbadet (Lake Mälaren), a nice little sandy beach... The neighborhood is diverse and in Bredäng Centrum there are restaurants, a pub, a bakery/café, a flower shop, a pharmacy and grocery stores... You can get pretty much anywhere! The metro stations is a short (3-4 mins) walk away, and from there Stockholm is your oyster! And trains and night busses run until late night... Subway ride to: Hornstull - 11 mins Slussen - 16 mins T-Centralen - 20 mins Östermalmstorg - 22 mins Check out SL's website (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik), go to the bottom of the page and click on "Visitor information in English", and plan your trip from Bredäng station. The easiest way from Arlanda is to take the airport coaches (flygbussarna, about 100 sek and takes 45 min) or the Arlanda express (280 sek, takes 20 min) to Cityterminalen / Stockholm Central. From there you find your way to T-centralen and get on the subway line 13 (red line) towards Norsborg (or Sätra, Alby) and hop off at Bredäng station. The subway ride should take about 20 mins. This is a 2 bedroom apartment, that you share with me (and maybe other airbnb'ers during summer season). They will have their own room and wc/bathroom. For families with children; my space (and home) is furnished and decorated with no thought of child safety. There are sharp edges and things within reach of toddlers. So depending on what kind stay you are planing my space might still work for you.
