The Little House

This lovely little house with dedicated parking is located a ten minute walk from the attractive centre of Knutsford with its numerous bars and restaurants, Tatton Park national trust property and Knutsford mainline railway station. Many event venues are within a short distance , as is junction 19 of the M6. Manchester airport is a 25min drive away. Many of our quests have described the little house as ‘sparkling clean, quirky, comfortable and well designed’. This little house can accommodate up to four people in two bedrooms. The beds are standard doubles at 4'6" x 6' and are made up with crisp, hand finished quality linen. The stairs are steep, (see photo) and are not suitable for the infirm or for small & unsupervised children. The accommodation is a great choice for those attending an event, visiting Knutsford, breaking a journey, heading for a flight, needing a break or a place to work ; but whilst the space provides, along with cutlery/glasses & crockery, fruit/granola /coffee/tea making facilities, and has a small fridge, there are ** NO SEPARATE KITCHEN FACILITIES ** available for long term self catering. However there are numerous restaurants/pubs & takeaway options all within easy walking distance. The property does not have a high chair or travel cot. The little house had its own dedicated WiFi. The property lies to the rear of our thatched cottage in a separate self contained building. It is accessed via two small sets of steps, lit at night, to the rear of a pretty courtyard. We are available to answer any questions via text at anytime and we are often discreetly around if needed. The little house forms part of a small group of residential properties within walking distance of Knutsford town centre,the railway and bus stations. The accommodation is in a separate, self contained, building to the rear of what is reputed to be the oldest inhabited listed thatched cottage in the town. There is space to park one standard car safely behind the property in an off road cul-de-sac. Please park as tightly into the corner by the log store at possible. There is plenty of free street parking available for any large or additional vehicles just a 2min walk away on the next road. There is a train & bus station within walking distance and taxi services available locally. The little house is supplied with coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge, granola, fresh fruit & milk. There are no kitchen facilities to prepare hot food. No microwave. No toaster. The accommodation contains original paintings from local artists and ceramics made by Ally(your host).
