Bed en Breakfast, nature, walking, relax, charming

Our house Casa Lagarto, built in 1908 and renovated 10 years ago has 2 parts; one for the guests of our B&B and the other one for the owners Hans and Neli and our 1 year young dog, Bijke. There are 4 cozy and cool bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all with a nice view. There is a large terrace and a wonderful garden with all kind of fruit trees. We will serve every morning a complete breakfast in the house or on the terrace. Our house has a private part were we live and a part four our guests. The guests unit knows two parts. The entree with a stair is at the beginning of our house. Down, the most coolest part of the house has two rooms with each a bed for two persons and a view on the terrace by windows with shutters. There are in each room closets. Also on this floor there is a bathroom and toilet. On the first floor we have 1 large room ; a room for two persons ( there is also a sofa for example a child) and a bathroom and toilet. In the ground-floor we have also a place for our guests to meet other guests, to read etc etc. The house knows 2 parts. One for te guests of our B&B - on the groundfloor two bedrooms with a bathroom and on the first floor one large bedroom and a bathroom. Guests have their one bathroom. The other part is the living area of the owners with the kitchen and the living. The breakfast will be served in the living . Dogs are welcome; we charge you 5 euros extra. The guests have their own entree. We will welcome you with a glass of wine, fresh or beer and tell you about the area and things you have to know. During your stay we can give you all kinds of advice about trips in the neighborhood etc. etc. Our casa is surrounded by the mountains called Serra Arada, a part of the magic mountains. Not far from our house you find on walking distance ( 10 min) a very beautiful nature swimming-pool in the Bio-Parc. Of course we will tell you about the nice places you can visit. The beaches in Aveiro, is about 3/4 hour by car. Viseu is a nice city with culture and a historical centre. Visiting the river Douro with the wine houses is a nice trip what will cost you a day, included a boat trip on the Douro. It is important to have a car in this area. You are staying in the mountains and the next village with restaurants and shops is 7 minutes by car. Our village called Carvalhais has 2 little cafes, a small supermarket and a church is on walking distance but " steep". From Porto there are modern busses who will bring you to San Pedro do Sul or Viseu. From there you have to take a taxi. For biking you have to be trained or to be in good shape/condition. Casa Lagarto is a Bed and Breakfast and so we serve you every day a nice and healthy breakfast between 8 and 10 AM or on request. Lunch and dinner is the responsibility of the guests and not possible to prepare it in our house/kitchen. Of course we can give you information about restaurants etc.
