The house was built in the nineteenth century and became the residence of M. Paul Rousseau who was a painter and interior designer. He used it as a gallery to display his talents. Paul Rousseau´s décor dates from about 1909. This lovely property includes a big main house, and five self-contained cottages. Can accommodate up to 25 guests. Cottage 1. With two bedrooms(4 people). Open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge,1 bathroom, independent access. Cottage 2. With three bedrooms(4 people). Open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge,1 bathroom, independent access. Cottage 3. Open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge with a double sofa bed, 1 bathroom. These self-contained cottages have windows looking out over the court yard and swimming pool. Share areas as: Court yard, Garden, Game room, Swimming pool, Garage, and BBQ facilities. We meet and greet all new arrivals and we live in the main house of the property. Chateauneuf Sur Charente is a commune in the Charente department in southwestern France. It is with Cognac and Jarnac, one of the three towns situated in the heart of the Charente vineyards. Angouleme, best known for its cathedral and for the international Comic Festival held each year. The house is 3 minutes driving from the Train station, same distance for the last station and next to the property there are lots of free parking areas . And a parking on promises as well.
